Jones as the 2022 Marine of the Year at the Military Times Service Members of the Year event in Washington, D.C. Major Jones was honored with this award following his heroic landing of a KC-130J tanker following a mid-air collision with a F-35B.

Murphy’s bipartisan legislation eliminates red tape for military families by making it easier for dependents to retain transferred Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits.

If signed into law, the bill would expand Vet Center GI Bill eligibility to student veterans who are using a VA education program.
